RiboLife

RiboLife is a collection of sequence alignments for ribosomal rRNA. Currently there are two versions each for the LSU and SSU.

RiboZones Alignment

Version 1.0

Version 1.0 of the LSU RiboZones alignment has been released in PNAS (2014).

Version 1.0 of the SSU RiboZones alignment has been released in (publication pending, 2015).

Version 2.0

Version 2.0 of these RiboZones alignments are (publication pending, 2018).

LSU (no 5S).
The 5S.
The SSU.

The alignment contains 133 sequences with broad phylogenetic representation from each domain of life (Bacteria, Archaea, Eukarya). The 23-28S rRNA sequences in RiboZones are full-length, aligned according to secondary and tertiary structure, and contain a single entry per species.
